Donations
The Women’s Employment & Resource Center has always been an advocate of a very basic philosophy - It is the responsibility of every person who has overcome obstacles in her life to reach back and assist those who are still struggling.
Your donation - no matter how modest - can help WERC supplement a very limited budget to insure that basis services are provided. There are three ways in which you may designate your donation:
- RISE Fund - our scholarship fund that is used to provide funding for an immediate obstacle to employment such as licensing, equipment, work apparel, testing, etc.
- Program Specific - if you are aware of a special program we offer that you would like to see continued (Rural Reach, Conflict Resolution, Women’s Health), you may designate your check to be used only for that program.
- General Funds - which are used to purchasing testing materials, consumable supplies, jump drives to enable participants to have immediate access to documents they produce (cover letters, resume, etc.), keyboarding software which they take with them, etc.
A donation may be made at anytime to WERC. Checks should be made out to:
